What are you shopping for?

 I’m moving in a couple of weeks, and I’m looking at bags. I’m looking for accessories to go with all the new clothes I got.

Are you going off to college?

Yes, I’m going to Huntsville. Sam Houston State University. It will be my freshman year.

Tell me about your outfit today.

I stayed with my cousin, and today we had to go to church. I threw on the nicest things I brought. I’m wearing a pencil skirt, maroon tank top. Maroon is my favorite color.

Why is it your favorite?

I like red and purple and maroon is red and purple mixed together. And I think it looks good on me.

Did you wear your combat boots to church?

Yes. I can’t go anywhere without my combat boots. I like having my own unique style. I love these. They are so comfortable. I’ve had them for several years, and I never want to get rid of them.

They’re not too hot for the summer?

They don’t ever get hot or sweaty or anything.

I notice you’re wearing a lot of little plastic bracelets.

Yeah, I’ve been wearing them since middle school. I’ve gotten so attached to them. People have just started wearing them, but I’ve had mine for a long time now. I wear these all the time.
