Name: Angela Cubero, 22

Location: Blackfly Metamorphosis, North Star Mall

Your have a very attention-grabbing look. How did you pull together your outfit?

A lot of the stuff is just old clothes I’ve got from friends. These used to be my old work pants. I used to work at Starbucks, and I cut them off and made them into shorts. The leggings, I got those from Hot Topic as well as the boots. I’ve always liked combat-type boots. When I was little, I used to watch “Daria” (on MTV) all the time.

What are you shopping for today?

I actually work here.

The clothes here seem to really reflect your style.

Yes, it’s right up my alley. I dress like this when I’m not at work. It’s part of the reason I like to work here. I can wear what I want.

I like the leopard print. Do you wear it often?

Yes, black leopard print has always been my favorite animal print.

Tell me about your pendant.

I got it on the Internet. It’s a Sigil of Baphomet. It’s usually associated with Satanism. I’m not religious in any way. I just do it for shock value. I like to stand out.

Well you definitely do. Your makeup is also very dramatic.

Red lipstick and dark eyes has always been my favorite. Probably because Morticia Addams was always my favorite. That’s how she does it.

How do people react to the way you look?

I get dirty looks every now and then, but surprisingly, it’s not as much as I thought. If someone doesn’t like it, it’s not someone I want to get to know anyway.

How many piercings do you have?

11.

And how many of those are visible right now?

Six. Seven if my mouth is open.
