Your hairstyle is fabulous, very stylish. It’s the kind of hairstyle that would make any outfit look great.

Thank you. It’s always been short but about six months ago, I decided to cut it a little bit shorter on one side.

I also like the big sunglasses.

They’re Michael Kors, which are usually very expensive. I found them in a TJ Maxx when my husband and I were driving here from Oregon.

Are you new to San Antonio?

We just got here about two weeks ago.

What brings you here?

Mostly the Spurs. I’m going to audition to be a Spurs Silver Dancer.

That’s so cool. How did you decide on that?

It’s been a dream of mine since I was little. I’ve danced since I was a little kid. I grew up going to basketball games and watching the dancers.

Are you a professional dancer?

Yeah. I grew up in Las Vegas and lived there about 20 years. In Vegas, I went to school for it for a little bit. I also danced for a professional company there. I taught a lot, too. I coached a dance team in Oregon when I was there.

Why did you pick the Spurs?

Well, we love it here. We’ve been here on vacation a few times. We just fell in love with San Antonio. Everything there is to do here, the weather. It just all seemed to click.

Well, your dress is perfect for the San Antonio weather. Plus, it looks really comfy.

I usually just throw on a little dress or a skirt and a tank top. It’s so cute but comfortable. You don’t have to put on a bunch of layers.

And aren’t you glad flip-flops aren’t just for the beach anymore?

I wear flip-flops everywhere. I feel comfortable wearing them. You can even do ones with a heel, and they’re still comfortable.
