San Antonio is already regarded as a tourism hotspot, known for good food, (sometimes) good weather and, of course, the Alamo. Now, the Alamo City can add a little sports history to its résumé. For the first time, this year's Final Four — April 5 and 7 at the Alamodome — will feature all four No. 1 seeds. Here's an idea of what to expect when those four teams — North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA and Memphis — collide in what could go down as the biggest Final Four of all time.
NATIONAL SEMIFINAL 1: NO. 1 UCLA VS. NO. 1 MEMPHIS
TIP-OFF: 5:07 p.m. Saturday, April 5
RECORDS: UCLA 35-3; Memphis 37-1
THE LINE: (as of press time) Memphis by 16.1/2
LOGIC SAYS: UCLA wins a close one. The Bruins have made a habit of eking out close victories this season, so why not one more for Final Four's sake?
MATCHUP TO WATCH: UCLA's Kevin Love vs. Memphis' Joey Dorsey. Love has been rolling in his first tourney appearance, but if anyone can slow his roll, it's Dorsey, who averages nearly 10 rebounds and two blocks per game.
THE 210 PREDICTION: UCLA 65, Memphis 62
THE 210 TAKE: The Bruins win another nail-biter and advance to their second national title game in three seasons.
NATIONAL SEMIFINAL 2: NO. 1 KANSAS VS. NO. 1 NORTH CAROLINA
TIP-OFF: 7:47 p.m. Saturday, April 5
RECORDS: Kansas 35-3; North Carolina 36-2
THE LINE: (as of press time) North Carolina by 36.1/2
LOGIC SAYS: North Carolina wins handily. The Tar Heels, aside from a brief run by Louisville in the Elite Eight, haven't really been challenged thus far in the tourney. Of course, there's a good reason for that: UNC is the best team in the tourney field.
MATCHUP TO WATCH: UNC's Ty Lawson vs. Kansas' Mario Chalmers. If backcourt play determines tourney advancement, then this matchup of star point guards should tell the tale.
THE 210 PREDICTION: North Carolina 82, Kansas 72
THE 210 TAKE: The fact that the Jayhawks nearly lost to Davidson — Davidson! — in the Elite Eight doesn't bode well for their chances against the nation's top overall seed.
PROJECTED NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: NO. 1 NORTH CAROLINA VS. NO. 1 UCLA
TIP-OFF: 8:21 p.m. Monday, April 7
LOGIC SAYS: North Carolina wins a close one. Tyler Hansbrough vs. Kevin Love should make for one hell of a matchup, but in the end, Hansbrough and the Tar Heels' experience wins out over Love and the Bruins.
MATCHUP TO WATCH: UNC's Ty Lawson vs. UCLA's Darren Collison. You know about the big men, but the teams' respective point guards might very well decide this one.
THE 210 PREDICTION: North Carolina 70, UCLA 65
THE 210 TAKE: The Tar Heels have been the nation's best team all season. Why stop now?
