Game shows are a dime a dozen, but there's never been anything on TV that's pitted the quality of the contestants' sperm and stripper-pole dancing abilities — until now.

The second season of “I Bet You” on the Mojo HD network debuts at 8:30 p.m. on April 10. The weekly show pits best friends/professional poker players/degenerate gamblers Phil “The Unabomber” Laak and Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari in a series of zany bets that test the limits of competition.

Each show focuses on different scenarios where the two wager thousands of their own dollars in either physical contests or things they observe.

Laak and Esfandiari both came by their fortunes at the poker table, specifically the World Poker Tour that airs on the Game Show Network. The 29-year-old Esfandiari has earned more than $2.7 million at the table, while Laak has cashed in for more than $1 million.

Laak also is well known for the company he keeps, notably Hollywood girlfriend Jennifer Tilly, the star of “Bride of Chucky” and “Seed of Chucky.”

The first episode has the duo in a Miami sperm bank, where Laak and Esfandiari undergo a series of tests to see who's the most fertile. Don't worry, though: The cameras aren't allowed into the sample room.

The list is long and plentiful for the season's 14 slated episodes, where some of the contests include building an ice sculpture; sexiest dancer on the stripper pole; solving a fictional murder mystery; who's the better demolition derby driver; who is more attractive to puppies; who can write the best song (coached by Tiffany and Frank Stallone); and which gambler would make the best professional firefighter.

The show also is filled with celebrity guest appearances. Shannon Elizabeth (“American Pie”), Richard Karn (“Home Improvement”) and George Sagal (“Just Shoot Me”) among others are scheduled to appear. Tilly will be there, too, to root on her boyfriend.

Many of the clips from Season One can be found on Youtube.com, and if the second season resembles anything like it, entertainment isn't only a promise, but a guarantee.

Mojo HD is available as part of the HD offering of many cable and satellite TV packages, including Time Warner Cable, Dish Network and DirectTV.
