Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day requires you to be ready to toast. You don’t want to be caught empty. Here are some Irish-themed drinks that don’t include dyeing one’s American-brand beer green. All five drink recipes are easy to follow.
 

DUBLIN HANDSHAKE
INGREDIENTS: 61/2 oz. Irish cream, 61/2 Irish whiskey, 63/4 oz. gin
PREPARATION: Shake all ingredients with ice, strain and serve on the rocks.

IRISH EYES
INGREDIENTS: 1 oz. Irish whiskey, 61/4 oz. green crème de menthe, 2 oz. heavy cream
PREPARATION: Shake all ingredients with ice, strain and serve on the rocks. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

NUTTY IRISHMAN
INGREDIENTS: 61/2 oz. Irish cream, 61/2 oz. hazelnut liqueur
PREPARATION: Mix and serve as a shot or on the rocks.

IRISH PRINCE
INGREDIENTS: 1 61/4 oz. Irish whiskey, 3 oz. tonic water
PREPARATION: Mix and serve on the rocks.

ERIE TOUR
INGREDIENTS: 61/3 part Irish liqueur, 61/3 part Irish cream, 61/3 part Irish whiskey
PREPARATION: Mix and serve on the rocks.
