Gateway to College Program for Physics Age: 17 What is your dream job? To be an astrophysicist because I love astronomy and stars. What is the coolest thing you learned in the Gateway to College program? That I need to be mature for college life and turn my work in on time. Are you into science fiction? No, I am more into history and National Geographic. What are you currently reading? “Death by Black Hole: And Other Cosmic Quandaries” (Neil deGrasse Tyson). It's a good book. When did you realize you wanted to study the stars? When I was 14, I watched a National Geographic program about outer space and I got a telescope that same year. What are you least looking forward to about graduation? Where I am going to go to college and how I will pursue what I want to do. What is your worst habit? Speaking when I am not supposed to.
