Though “Semi-Pro” will undoubtedly rule the national box office in its opening weekend, the film is of particular interest in San Antonio, considering some of the film's Alamo City ties. In addition to director Kent Alterman, the film also features San Antonio native and Academy Award nominee Jackie Earle Haley, not to mention consultant work from some former Spurs.

KENT ALTERMAN

JACKIE EARLE HALEY
