THE GADGET CORNER: Online invites get a healthy injection of testosterone Print E-mail
Wednesday, 20 February 2008

So you want to get the guys together for the big game or a big night of bachelorhood before the big day. The last thing the dudes want is a frou-frou invite in their inbox.

Good thing there's Manvite, a free online invitation service for when you care enough to send the very best with testosterone.

Manvite provides a decidedly masculine take on the everyday cyber invite with nondescript shout-outs to grab some beers, hunt some cougars or engage in other manly diversions. Instead of hoity-toity clip art, you get a simple invite with no-frills dude text straight off Bluto's COLLEGE sweater.

While Manvite likes to keep it simple, the service doesn't exactly drag its knuckles, either. You can track responses, stockpile an online address book and rehash the shindig at a postgame page. And in true pissing-contest fashion, others can vote on your event's manliness. All that's missing is Adam Carolla with a bowl of buffalo wings.
