Names: Basil Al Askari, 19, and Sophia Hillgren, 20

Location: Borders Alamo Quarry

You look very stylishly cozy. Want to tell me about your look?
Al Askari: Uh, sure, just let me catch up with my girlfriend.

Oh, she looks very chic, too. Is it difficult to be fashionable when it's this cold?
Al Askari: Not really. This is the warmest jacket I own, so the decision was easy. But my style is pretty individualistic; I like to incorporate different styles from the places I've been, which are mostly in Europe.

How about you, Sophia?
Well, I've also traveled a lot and picked up bits and pieces from where I've traveled. I bought this jacket from a French woman, my scarf is from England, and the beret actually belonged to my aunt, who passed away.

So a lot of what you wear has a story behind it ..... Yeah, I like it that way. They become conversation pieces.

And you, Basil, do you put a lot of thought into your look?
Not really. I'd like to put more (thought), but living in a college dorm — this is my second semester at Trinity University — doesn't offer much opportunity.

Meaning?
Al Askari: I have really early classes, then there's the laundry issue and, well, laziness. Hillgren: (laughing) It's probably mostly laziness.
