Texas Public Radio's KSTX 89.1 FM will present StoryCorps, beginning on Feb. 7 at Alamo Plaza. The StoryCorps MobileBooth will feature a recording studio that will allow groups of two to interview one another, with a CD to be sent to the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. Some segments will later air of NPR's "Morning Edition." The MobileBooth will reside at Alamo Plaza for approximately six weeks.
"These audio snapshots are not only valuable documents of our American lives, but on a personal level, the StoryCorps project serves as a way to bring friends and family members closer together," said Nathan Cone, Director of Programming at Texas Public Radio, in a news release.
