‘How She Move'

In the topsy-turvy world of Hollywood, it appears that stepping has become the new disco. Last year's “Stomp the Yard” introduced audiences to this foot-thumping, rump-shaking dance and early '08 brings two step-themed features, “Step Up 2 The Streets” and “How She Move” a Canadian-made urban drama about a teenage girl who joins an all-male step team in her 'hood in the hopes of winning enough money to continue her education at a tony private school. Same old tune, played at a different speed. 1 hr., 38 mins. Watch the trailer.

‘Rambo'

The sweat was barely dry on the boxing mat before Sylvester Stallone announced plans to follow the underdog hit “Rocky Balboa” with another installment in the “Rambo” franchise. Picking up several decades after the last installment, which found the hero fighting in Afghanistan alongside the Taliban, the new film finds Rambo living in the jungles of Thailand, where he's visited by a group of missionaries looking for a guide to help them cross the border into Myanmar. He embarks on yet another one-man war against a small Southeast Asian country.  1 hr., 36 mins. Watch the trailer.

‘Meet the Spartans'

The makers of the epically bad spoofs “Epic Movie” and “Date Movie” return with another crime against cinema, a feature-length parody of “300,” a movie that was already funny enough on its own terms, thank you very much. Carmen Electra, Kevin Sorbo and Diedrich Bader are among the C-list actors humiliating themselves for a paycheck, while a bunch of no-name performers parade through the picture as exaggerated versions of real people, including Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Donald Trump. 1 hr., 30 mins. Watch the trailer.
