Things are about to get risqué at the San Pedro Playhouse, as the theater is putting on a production of “The Full Monty.” The show, which runs Fridays-Sundays from Jan. 25-March 2, tells the story of six overweight, out-of-shape steel workers from Buffalo, N.Y. When they get laid off and when their wives come home raving about a recent Chippendales show, the six guys band together to take it all off for their own strip show. The musical was originally a 1997 Oscar-winning film set in Britain, which got us to thinking. If “The Full Monty” were remade as a movie today in an Americanized version, which burly celebrities would make up the cast? Here are the six guys we would pick.
