HOTTIES QUOTIENT: Medium. Most of the regulars are well-groomed Stone Oak residents ages 30 and older. Suggested pickup line: “I'm really savoring the oaky tones in this chardonnay, aren't you?”

WALLET HANGOVER: Medium to high. More than 130 wines from around the world are in stock, many available by the glass for $5-$22. Bottles range from $15-$470. There are plenty of inexpensive choices. Twenty beers are also offered, from Bud Lite to Erdinger Hefeweizen to Mackeson Triple Stout, priced $3-$8. The Mediterranean-inspired menu includes tapas, meat and cheese platters, pizzettes and desserts for $6-$14.

THE 210 TAKE: Ideal for wine connoisseurs as well as newbies who want to learn about wine in a non-intimidating environment, Copa is a prime destination for a date, an after-dinner drink or a girls' night out. Don't let its strip-mall location deter you — the interior of the two-story bar is lovely, with lots of glowing candles and textured amber walls lined with bottles of wine. Drop by on Wednesday nights to sample six wines for $15.
