Know what makes Firefox such a foxy fun Web browser? All the cool extensions to personalize it. Here are some of my favorite Firefox tweaks, all available at addons.mozilla.org. All-in-One Sidebar All-in-One Sidebar offers easy access to all the extensions and other Firefox add-ons you collect. And you can customize the sidebar. Clipmarks Clipmarks is like a virtual scrapbook for your fave Web text, images and video that you can compile and share. I use it all the time when looking for stuff to blog. Beats saving and scrolling bookmarks. ColorfulTabs Firefox's tabbed browsing lets you open multiple Web pages in one window and flip through them via tabs. If you like tons of open tabs the way I do, you'll be grateful for ColorfulTabs. It differentiates tabs with various colors so they're easy to tell apart. Easy on the eyes, too. Compact Menu 2 Compact Menu 2 helps maximize Web window space by squeezing all the menu bar options into one menu button. More space is always good. Download Statusbar Downloads headed your way? Close the download window and stick Download Statusbar on your browser instead. Statusbar nestles nicely on the browser for uninterrupted Web viewing. Restarter So simple yet so necessary, Restarter adds a restart option to the file menu so you can save your browsing session each time you need to restart. You know, like when you add extensions to your browser. StumbleUpon StumbleUpon channel-surfs the Web for sites, pictures and more tailored to your favorite topics. Just click the StumbleUpon button and trip the Net fantastic. Super DragAndGo Like a link but want to keep your current tab as is? Super DragAndGo lets you drag a link on the page so it'll open in a new tab. Another cool feature for tab freaks like yours truly. René A. Guzman | 210SA Contributor |
