I work at USAA. I'm an insurance agent.

I'm shopping for an outfit — to go with these boots.

But they look great with what you're wearing .....

Thank you. I thought this dress looked pretty good with them; it's a neutral color. But other than this, I don't have a lot to wear with them. I've had them for two years now, but I don't get to wear them that often.

Why not?

Well, it never really gets cold enough here. But as soon as the temperature drops into the 60s, I take out my boots.

You must have put a lot of thought into this outfit then.

Not really. I was just determined to wear my boots. Accessorizing was easy; I just coordinated my jewelry with the gold buckles on the boots.

The leopard print bag really ties it all together ..... was that planned?

Actually, no, this is my everyday purse. It was a gift from my best friend a couple of years ago. I really like it because it has a lot of sparkle and flair, and it pretty much goes with everything. It's a little worn and beat up, but I can't find another (bag) that measures up to this one.

You look very put together. How important is that to you?

Very. How you look says a lot about you, and if you look like a mess, chances are your life is, too.
