Though neither program playing in the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship game is located anywhere near San Antonio, Oklahoma and top-ranked Missouri will feature some Alamo Cit-area alumni when the two square off on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Alamodome.

CORY BENNETT

THE RUNDOWN: Ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 14 safety recruit in the nation last season ..... runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash, bench presses 305 pounds and squats 425 pounds.

TRAVIS LEWIS

HIGH SCHOOL: Lee

MACK BREED
POSITION: Strong safety
CLASSIFICATION: Junior
HIGH SCHOOL: Jay
THE RUNDOWN: Began his career as a quarterback but switched to safety following his first year with the Tigers ..... output has been limited by a knee injury sustained in 2005 ..... chose Missouri over other major programs like Texas A&M, Utah and Colorado.
