GET YOUR DRINK ON: The club is open from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. daily, but drinks aren't served after 2 a.m. The place doesn't start filling up until around midnight.

HOTTIES QUOTIENT: High. If the drag queens strutting their stuff onstage aren't your style, check out the diverse crowd of all colors, ages and sizes. Saturday night is college night. The Saint is a gay bar, but straight people won't feel unwelcome. There's no dress code, and people tend to dress pretty casually.

WALLET HANGOVER: Varies. Minors always pay a cover, usually $6-$10. There's typically no cover for 21 and older during the week or before 11 p.m. on Friday-Saturday; after 11, it's usually $4. On Saturday, admission is free with college or military ID. The drinks are pretty cheap — generally $3 for wells and imports, $2.75 for domestics. During happy hour, which runs 4-10 p.m. daily, well drinks are $1, domestics are $2 and call drinks are $3. There's always a drink special; right now, well drinks are 75 cents all night Wednesday and Friday.

THE 210 TAKE: The Saint is a staple on the gay-bar strip on Main across from San Antonio College and has been for about 15 years. It's known mainly for its drag shows, which begin around midnight Sunday-Friday. On Saturday, there's a male and female strip-off. The place gets especially packed on Tuesdays for the amateur drag show. Scantily clad male go-go dancers gyrate on boxes to the beat of dance music and hip-hop in the main dance room. In the quieter front room, patrons sip their drinks while keeping an eye on who comes in the door. You can watch music videos or play darts or pool (a gay dart league drops by weekly). And its location near the Silver Dollar, Heat and Pegasus makes it ideal for bar hopping.
