Jeans, T-shirts and motorcycle boots are the norm for daytime when Suzy Bravo is working at Half Price Books. But at night, especially when her band, Suzy Bravo & the Soul Revue, has a gig, she likes to “glam it up.”

“I feel most at home when I'm onstage. I really own it, and my take-it-or-leave-it attitude really comes out,” said 31-year-old Bravo, who wears classic, retro dresses when she's performing. “I still like to look and feel like a lady.”

GLOVE AFFAIR

“I guess I'm still making up for prom night — I didn't overdo (my outfit) then — plus they add an air of class and sophistication to my stage presence.”

EARS TO YOU

“Everyone at the Mix, the bar we play at, has a collection of my earrings. I always lose them during performances. I don't spend a lot on them — or any jewelry for that matter — but they do have to be dangly, showy and fun.”

WRAP IT UP

“I needed something for the cold weather, and I loved this cloak. It has an Audrey Hepburn look, but with a wild twist.”

SMOKE SCREEN

“When I wore my cloak the first time, someone told me I looked like I should be using a cigarette holder. Smart-ass that I am, I went out and bought one. Looks good, no?”
