CHRIS BROWN FEATURING T-PAIN: ‘KISS KISS'
Of the top 50 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, T-Pain is featured on six of them. This is usually the time in the show where we chime in with a sarcastic comment, but, honestly, that's pretty damned impressive.
JENNIFER LOPEZ: ‘DO IT WELL'
If by this you mean hiding your pregnancy for as long as you did, then yes, J. Lo, you do it very well.
AVENGED SEVENFOLD: ‘ALMOST EASY'
When a song's chorus begins with “I'm not insane” repeated over and over again, as it does on the latest single from Avenged Sevenfold, it's a safe bet you'll find said tune blaring on hard rock radio.
TAYLOR SWIFT: ‘OUR SONG'
A couple is riding along in a car, trying to find that special song that truly defines their relationship. In the end, they decide that love trumps music, and what they have together is more than enough. Sounds like something that would make for a nice country song. Oh, wait .....
RILO KILEY: ‘SILVER LINING’
Spin wondered aloud whether this band was the next Fleetwood Mac. They’re not, though this track from their latest release – Under the Blacklight – is a solid single.
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: ‘RADIO NOWHERE’
This, the lead single from Springsteen’s new Magic, helped propel the album to the top chart spot in seven different countries, including the United States.
JAMES BLUNT: ‘1973’
It’s not “You’re Beautiful,” and that’s good enough for us.
THE VAULT
ARTIST: Outkast
ALBUM: Stankonia
RELEASE DATE: Oct. 31, 2000
THE 210 TAKE: Perhaps one of the greatest hip-hop releases of all time, Stankonia wowed the masses — and rocked the Billboard charts — with hit singles like “Ms. Jackson,” “So Fresh, So Clean” and “B.O.B.” According to the duo, Stankonia is a fictional land “at the center of the Earth, seven light years below sea level ..... the place from which all funky things come.” As this album proved, Big Boi and Andre 3000 are anything but conventional.
PANDORA'S BOX: You type in an artist or band name, and this site configures a playlist of their music — and others like it — for your enjoyment.

IF ONLY MTV STILL PLAYED MUSIC VIDEOS: For his solo debut, Elect the Dead, System of a Down singer Serj Tankian released the anti-war track “Empty Walls” as the lead single. He also released a politically overtonish video, which, quite simply, is the most simplistically beautiful video we've seen in awhile.

LIVE TV: About two minutes into this clip, host Jon Bon Jovi required some help from bandmate Richie Sambora. Unfortunately for the fresh-out-of-rehab Sambora, he forgot his lines. Or maybe rehab just didn’t take the first time.
