From 9 to 5, Demonte Alexander is a human resource specialist in the Army. That means a uniform is required. But immediately after work, the 30-year-old transforms.

“I like to call it casually classy,” said Alexander, whose wardrobe revolves around earth tones unless he's wearing black, white or gray. “I prefer solid colors, nothing too busy.”

BUCKLE UP

“What I really like about Mark Joiner belt buckles — I have four — is they're handmade and no two are alike. And they

coordinate really well with earth tone colors.”

SOLE DESIRE

“Most of my shoes are actually boots. I have a suede pair for going out, but this is my everyday kick-around pair. They go with almost everything.”

CAPTIVATING

“I have 13 of these caps in different colors. They really complete my look and make me look put-together, not too street or too formal.”
