NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY
Lowdown: This year marks the 20th anniversary of the National March on Washington for Gay and Lesbian Rights — and the display of the AIDS Quilt on the Mall in Washington, D.C. Members of the LGBT communities are encouraged to wear the pink triangle or their favorite rainbow jewelry or clothes. You can also submit a video to YouTube as part of a national initiative. Locally, Metropolitan Community Church of San Antonio is hosting an event at The X-ing, encouraging folks to slam that closet door behind them.
