THE DIGITS: (210) 698-8922; changosclub.com

GET YOUR DRINK ON: 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday-Friday; 2 p.m.-2a.m. Saturday; noon-2 a.m. Sunday

HOTTIES QUOTIENT: Strange. No, really. An eclectic mix of people gathers at Chango's, from those who live at the Dominion to workers from the fields west of San Antonio to young hipsters who know how to sniff out a mighty good nightspot. Clubgoers range in age from 21 to no telling what, and everybody hangs together in harmony.

WALLET HANGOVER: Average. Cocktails like margaritas will run you $5.50, domestics $3.50 and imports $4.25. During happy hour, which is 4 to 7 p.m. daily, domestics run $2.75, imports are $3.75 and it's $1 off everything. The humidor is large and interesting, with cigars ranging from the cheapy (a couple of bucks) to the very expensive ($30-$40). And there's never a cover.

THE 210 TAKE: Unless you live in the Dominion, it's quite a haul out to Chango's, but it's worth it (if you don't like smoke, however, stay away. Remember, this is a cigar club). It seems the joint is always jumpin', and the music's fun and varied, with acts such as Stan Wayne, Ken Slavin and Altered Natives. There's also an outdoor patio where bands play. On Sundays and Mondays, the club features NFL Sunday Ticket, so you can watch all your favorite games, but this is the best part of Sundays: The make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. You get a glass of vodka, and add your own olives and mixes. At Chango's, everybody can be a mixologist.
