KANYE WEST FEATURING T-PAIN: ‘GOOD LIFE'
Considering his new album, Graduation, debuted with nearly 1 million copies sold in its first week and destroyed 50 Cent's Curtis, this song is not only getting Kanye plenty of radio play, it also sums up his current state of being.
ALICIA KEYS: ‘NO ONE'
The lead single from Keys' upcoming third album, As I Am, this was the song that brought the house down during her recent performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. And unlike a certain other pop starlet who took the stage at the VMAs, Keys' performance allowed her to showcase her stunning voice while keeping her dignity intact.
TIMBALAND FEATURING ONEREPUBLIC: ‘APOLOGIZE'
This single features Timbaland in his nonstop quest to inhabit every slot on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. Judging by his recent success, he's not far from achieving that goal.
BRITNEY SPEARS: ‘GIMME MORE'
Hot doesn't necessarily mean good, as evidenced by Britney's latest attempt at a musical comeback. “Gimme More?” For the love of God, please don't. Though it is, admittedly, catchy.
THE VAULT
ARTIST: Stone Temple Pilots
ALBUM: No. 4
RELEASE DATE: Oct. 26, 1999
THE 210 TAKE: Also known as the beginning of the end of STP, this album featured standard pop-rock tracks like “Down” and “Sour Girl.” And though it went platinum, it was STP's least commercially and critically successful record at the time ..... at least until its lesser follow-up, Shangri-La Dee Da, was released two years later.
LUKE BRYAN: ‘ALL MY FRIENDS SAY’
This song follows a guy who gets wasted a bar, sees his ex with a new man and begins to drink the pain away. Fortunately for him, he remembers little of it the day after.
DIERKS BENTLEY: ‘FREE AND EASY (DOWN THE ROAD I GO)’
Even if he’s broke, this guy is living “free and easy,” which essentially makes this track the country version of “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”
SIXX: AM: ‘LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL’
Not only is Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx somehow still alive, but he’s even got this side project band, which just released its debut album, The Heroin Diaries.

‘CHUCK': Despite plenty of promotion and positive critical response, this new NBC show bowed to an underwhelming 9.3 million viewers in its premiere episode. But because of the wonders of the Internet, you can catch up with the show online. Or, if the ratings get much worse, you can always say you watched at least one episode of “Chuck” before it headed to the land of canceled shows.
