BUCKY COVINGTON, Oct. 26, Cowboys Dancehall: Covington has carved out a decent career for himself since appearing on the fifth season of “American Idol.” His self-titled album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.

ELI YOUNG BAND, Oct. 26, Gruene Hall: Perhaps the hottest up-and-coming band in country music, Eli Young Band recently scored a premier time slot at the Austin City Limits Music Festival but is slowing it down for a more intimate gig in Gruene — if by intimate you mean a packed house full of beer-swilling country music fans.
