WHAT: Drink

WHERE: 200 Navarro St., Suite 100

THE DIGITS: (210) 858-5949

GET YOUR DRINK ON: 5 p.m.-2 a.m. daily

HOTTIES QUOTIENT: Medium. Drink attracts tourists, conventioneers, downtown workers and wine lovers from all over the city. It's an ideal after-dinner spot on a second or third date.

WALLET HANGOVER: Surprisingly low, considering its location across from the swanky Hotel Contessa and the Westin and within walking distance of overpriced River Walk tourist stops. The 75 signature cocktails will run you between $6 and $10. There are dozens of intriguing martinis — watermelon, vanilla almond, pineapple margarita — that cost $7-$9. Beers cost $3.50-$4.50. There are also 150 wines, which range in affordability from “heck, why not” to “holy crap!” Happy hour runs 5 to 7 p.m. daily. The food menu includes tapas for $8, paninis and wraps for $9 and cheese boards for $10-$20.

THE 210 TAKE: Drink has a lot going for it: A classy atmosphere with a sleek, Asian-inspired décor, comfortable couches, a projection TV and live jazz on the weekends. Work by local artists hangs on the walls; a new artist is introduced the first Thursday of every month. Perhaps most appealing is that the yummy food is served until 2 a.m. (We recommend the Tuscan wrap). If you can find parking, Drink is definitely a prime spot for trying exotic new wines or just relaxing with a friend after work.
