In “As Filthy As It Gets,” the Methane Sisters, a washed-up female punk-rock duo, attempts to unite 20 years after breaking up. The comedy, an original play created and performed by Monessa Esquivel and Annele Spector, is filled with profanity, songs about sex and general trashiness.

Jump-Start Performance Co. wants to reprise the show, which was performed in January, but they need cash. So it only made sense to stage a completely filthy fundraiser.

Filthy F*@#in' Fest will feature whipped-cream wrestling and performances by the Methane Sisters. They will bring out old favorites such as “Booty Calls, Booty Answers” and debut four new songs, including “Bleeding in the Suburbs” and “Oh! Your Balls” (“a love song,” Spector said).

The fundraiser also will include a DJ set by Giancarlo of the ElectroChemists, drinks and a silent auction. Works by artists Andy Benavides, Myriam Lanau, Alex Rubio and Robert Tatum will be on the block, as well as naughty gift baskets and gift certificates..

Spector said she hopes to raise at least $3,000 toward the estimated $8,000 needed to produce the show in January. Where does the money go?

New video segments, a live band, “hot, oily male backup dancers” and other necessities.

“Our stripper shoe/makeup/wig budget is like $1,000,” Spector said. “That sh*t's expensive.”
