HOTTIES QUOTIENT: Medium. Fatso's attracts sports fans of all ages and types who come to watch satellite-broadcast sports on the 44 televisions (12 of which are big-screen). It gets especially packed during Cowboys games. Families also flock there in the early evening for the kid-friendly food (including tacos, barbecue, baked potatoes and chili) and the plentiful picnic-table seating. The sand volleyball courts out back often are filled with athletes, some of which are lithe and hot and others of which are, uh, not.

WALLET HANGOVER: Low. You can drink for relatively cheap, and there is usually a beer or mixed-drink special going on. The vast menu offers dozens of low-priced choices, including hamburgers for $4.75, an eight-inch cheese pizza for $5.50 or 10 hot wings for $6.49. There are lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday.

THE 210 TAKE: You couldn't be bored at Fatso's if you tried. Besides the volleyball courts and the televised sports — including football games broadcast on the NFL Network, which isn't carried by Time Warner — the bar has pool tables, video games, electronic darts, a TouchTunes jukebox and karaoke three days a week. One of the most popular sports bars in the city, Fatso's is opening up a second location on Henderson Pass next month. A testament to the bar's coolness? In 2005, ESPN's “Cold Pizza” talk show placed Fatso's at No. 12 on the list of America's greatest sports bars.
