With a clientele studded with celebrities such as “Dancing with the Stars” personality Mario Lopez and Spurs player Beno Udrih, this Alamo Heights hotspot has established itself as a place to see and be seen by the young and the fashionable. Reserved VIP tables are available — it's that kind of club.

WALLET HANGOVER: Moderate. Most mixed drinks and wine cost $6-$7.

THE 210 TAKE: Naming a club “Posh Ultra Lounge” is risky (and pretentious), but for the most part, the place lives up to that promise of luxury. Tucked in the corner of the Collections shopping center at Broadway and Sunset Road, Posh radiates a sensual, hedonistic vibe, with a curvy, lighted bar, mirrors and bead curtains. The walls are lined with cozy alcoves containing (fake) animal-skin couches, (fake) black leather wall accents and (fake) marble tables. A live band or DJ provides rock, techno, hip-hop or Top 30 music every night; Tuesdays are jazz night. Fridays offer theme parties with special attire required. If you're looking for a high-class meat market, Posh is it.
