TASTE SENSATION: Be prepared to scan the menu a few times before ordering. Tai Sun offers a multitude of dishes from crab Rangoon to Szechwan chicken, with a menu to please any Chinese food lover. On a recent visit, we tried the lemon chicken, a safe plate but a good indicator of what the restaurant has to offer. Although it wasn't phenomenal, it was good and definitely filling. We left Tai Sun with two bags of leftovers.

TUMS-WORTHY: Usually we're a big fan of the egg drop soup; however, during our recent visit, there was something about the soup that didn't taste right. It could've been an off day for the recipe. Also, the sesame chicken was a bit heavy on the sauce.

THE 210 TAKE: Tai Sun has a solid reputation for Chinese food on the Southside. The restaurant offers good food in large portions for reasonable prices. And they have freedom fries on the menu. Patriotic and tasty — what a combination.
