If you enter the Machine Makeover contest, it could be your lucky day. One winner will get to have his or her car overhauled to look brand-spanking new. “Pimp My Ride?” Forget it. The payoff here is cooler: Your spruced-up ride will be featured at the 2007 International Car & Truck Show here on Nov. 8-11.

To enter, log on to 210SA.com and click on the Machine Makeover button. Submit your name, contact info and photos as well as a few words about why your car is the worst in San Antonio. Cars must be Fords and must be running to be considered.

Entries can be submitted until July 31. A panel of judges will pick the finalists, and online voting begins Aug. 3.
