GET YOUR DRINK ON:
The bar is open from 3 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday- Friday; 6 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday-Sunday

HOTTIES QUOTIENT:
Surprisingly high. There were lots of young, casually trendy folks who, like the bar's name may imply, would make great future ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends. Toned guys in button-up shirts and jeans pretend to play pool at the lone table or throw darts while secretly checking out the bare-shouldered ladies standing at the bar or crowded next to the live band.

WALLET HANGOVER:
Manageable. Happy hour at Bitter End means $1 off everything from 3 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday; 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. With specials featuring a different liquor for $3 and beer for $2.50 each day, your bank account will survive for you to drink again. Plus, the bar hosts a live band from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. every night with no cover.

THE 210 TAKE:
Nestled in a strip mall near U.S. 281 north of the airport, the small but fun space has a little bit for everyone: alcohol, music, pool, darts, and more alcohol. On a recent Saturday, tables and booths in the rear filled early as local rockers Papa Wood began loudly pumping out tunes by The Killers and Green Day. The decibel level makes this place a convenient location to use the “lean-in” technique on one of the cuties at the bar (in order to be heard, of course). Is that hope in the air or just hormones? With a name like Bitter End, it's hard to tell.
