FERGIE w/LUDACRIS: ‘GLAMOROUS'
It's a time-honored technique designed to sell albums. Pair a singer (in this case, a marginally talented one) with a mainstream rapper, have the two record a crappy-but-catchy track and watch the dollars roll in.
PAPA ROACH: ‘FOREVER'
Hard to believe, but it's been seven years since this band burst onto the scene with the hit single “Last Resort.” Even harder to believe is that, despite a decrease in popularity since that point, Papa Roach is better now than it ever was.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA: ‘CANDYMAN'
Christina vs. Britney, the battle of hit-making pop stars wages on. Except it doesn't.
PINK: ‘U + UR HAND'
Some songs are so introspective and subtle, it can take hours to fully explore their meaning and intent. This is not one of those songs.
THE VAULT
ARTIST: Linkin Park
ALBUM: Meteora
RELEASE DATE: March 25, 2003
THE 210 TAKE: The boys from Linkin Park sure do like to take their time, considering that the 4-year-old Meteora stands as the group's latest studio album. Of course, with a radio single expected in April and a new album (Minutes to Midnight) to follow in May, it looks like Linkin Park is ready to serve up another batch of new music. Rap-rockers (if there are any of you left), rejoice!
