Medium: Sculpture, performance art. installations

Philosophy: "In galleries, they have those glass cases so you can't touch the art. They're really stupid. It's the worst way to show art. If you make art and take it out into the real world, you get real reactions," Kuehnle said. "I want to make a connection. I always say, 'stop, talk to me, we're both people.' I actually want to encourage the interaction between people."

Check him out: His latest exhibit, "Peek-a-Boo: Who's Watching Who?" can be seen in Airport Art Spaces through April 27. The installation uses TV cameras and monitors to display a live feed of people walking by. "It's commenting on all the heightened security at the airport and how ridiculous it is, kind of like a Big Brother thing," Kuehnle said.
