I could have lived my entire life without ever knowing what a fetish foot crush video was. Sadly, as Comedy Central’s newest show “Tosh.0” debuted last week, I found out what the little porky fetish entailed.
Alas, it is good to know that if this whole journalism thing does not work out, I have options. Still, search fetish foot crush video or go to Comedy Central’s Web site and watch clips from the first episode of this new series to see why I’d rather keep on writing.
Admittedly, seeing the farting Robert Tilton again was refreshing. It’s been about nine years since I first watched the farting preacher, and I had forgotten all about him.
“Tosh.0” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. with host comedian Daniel Tosh.
It is a classic combination of gross, funny, disturbing and uncomfortable Internet video clips all rolled together with sarcastic commentary and packaged into a TV show.
It features pretty much everything about the Internet we love and hate, from the present and past (emphasis on the past) and mixes them with Tweets, blog posts and other viral crap.
Granted, there have been tons of shows like this one before, but the best part of a sandwich is always the mayonnaise, and Tosh is nothing if not a great big smear of pasty mayo. He’s deadly funny, and his biting commentary and personal re-creations of some of the stupid junk people do on the Internet is what helps “Tosh.0” stand out.
Remember the guy who ate a tablespoon of cinnamon? Tosh does, too, and he re-creates it to see if the results were the same. And, yes, both resulted in vomit. Why is it that uncontrollable vomiting is only funny on TV?
Anyway, where “Tosh.0” excels is that it finds the individuals responsible for some of the funniest viral video stunts and gives them an opportunity to redo their mistakes or explain their madness.
Long story short, we got to see Afro Ninja redeem himself. Queue Journey song and tears.
