DC: It's almost summer, and you know what that means? Skinny-dipping! Well, that and summer movies. Growing up, did you have any movie star crushes?
CQ: Julie McCullough (“Growing Pains”) was without a doubt my all-time No. 1 crush. Also, not far behind was Nicole Eggert (“Charles in Charge”). I guess other crushes growing up were Jennifer Connelly, Phoebe Cates and Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star. That's the top five. Then there was Kerri Green. She was in “The Goonies” and “Lucas.”
DC: Being the “Star Wars” geek you are, I would have guessed Princess Leia. Or, shit, even Yoda.
CQ: Even with the Leia slave outfit thing, it was never a sexual deal with me. I always loved “Stars Wars” with a platonic kind of love. Maybe it was because when “Jedi” came out, I was only 9. The boys had not dropped yet. And Yoda was not cute, you barbarian! He was stoic and grandfatherly in a small and green kind of way.
DC: Man, I remember having a comic book crush on that character called Queen Bee when I was 5 or so. There were a couple of babysitters. And Daryl Hannah was hot in the movie “Splash.” Made me want to become a marine biologist or at least a fisherman.
CQ: Liking girls I saw in movies was always there. I told my mom I wanted to marry Princess Leia right after “Empire” came out. I didn't know what that meant. It wasn't until I was 11 or so when I saw “Weird Science” and Kelly LeBrock's boobs kick-started my pubescent adventures.
DC: If Spielberg made a movie about you, what would the story be?
CQ: The story of a huge comic book and “Star Wars” nerd who chased skirt for all the wrong reasons until God sent the destined love of my heart into my life. I see me being played by Chewbacca. But it will probably be Matthew McConaughey, for the similarity of looks.
