HOTTIES QUOTIENT: Medium. Partiers of every age and profession come out to chill out at The Pointe, so someone is sure to catch your eye. Because this is a typical north-of-1604 establishment, most everyone sports stylish threads and dresses to impress.
WALLET HANGOVER: Medium to high. There's no cover, so don't worry about shelling out the dough before you get your drink on. Domestics and imports run about $4 and $4.50, respectively, and wells cost about $4. Martinis run as high as $8. It's easy to run up a pretty hefty tab, but the drinks are delish, so it's worth it.
THE 210 TAKE: The Pointe Martini Lounge sits in a quiet suburban shopping center, but makes a lot of noise. The atmosphere is swanky but soft, letting the interior design of leathers and electric hues speak for itself. Sip on a drink (try the chocolate martini or a cosmopolitan) and shake your rump to mixes from Top 40 to house to '80's rock. Friday nights are your best bet, and the crowd thickens up the closer it gets to midnight. So get glam and get your groove on — at Pointe, that's the whole point.
