HOTTIES QUOTIENT: Medium. This 21-plus crowd is laid back and ready to party. There are definitely way more guys than girls. The ladies all seemed to be taken, and the guys didn't seem to be looking for anything other than hanging out with their friends.
WALLET HANGOVER: Low. There's no cover, and there are monthly drink specials.
THE 210 TAKE: Apparently, frequent customers call it The Cock. Monthly drink specials are just one of the many reasons to stop by Babcock Bar. Pool tables, darts and a jukebox provide plenty of cozy entertainment, but after meeting Mario, I was sold — this bartender has talent, and he definitely draws a crowd. I swear I saw flames coming from his corner. The staff really knows how to take care of its customers, and I was impressed from beginning to end. Wedged between Subway and Capparelli's at the Babcock North Shopping Center, Babcock Bar was tough to find, but it was worth it.
